How to Clean Your Washing Machine Perfectly
–White vinegar – Baking soda –Microfiber cloth-toothbrush
These explanations are for a top opening machine. But it's the same principle for a window machine.
The procedure:
1. Start your machine empty by selecting the longest program and the hottest temperature.
2. Open the hood and add 1 liter of white vinegar while the machine is filling.
3. Immediately after point 2, add a cup of baking soda to the drum.
4. Close the hood and wait a minute while the machine is running. Open the hood again and let the ingredients you poured in for 1 hour.
5. In the meantime, remove all removable parts and soak them in white vinegar.
6. Scrub the removable parts, dry them and put them back.
7. Using the toothbrush, clean hard-to-reach places. You can also clean the outside of your machine with white vinegar and microfiber wipes.
8. After one hour, let the program end with the cover closed.
9. When the program is finished, wipe down the sides and bottom with the wipes and vinegar.
If you frequently clean your machine, you are done. But if it is really very dirty continue the procedure.
9. Restart a program with a high temperature by adding 1 liter of vinegar as for point 2.
10. When the wash cycle ends, wipe again as for point 9.
If you have a window machine with a safety device that prevents opening during the cycle, pour the vinegar and baking soda into the laundry drawer instead of putting them directly into the machine
And now your machine is perfectly clean!
